What subject areas do you offer tutoring in?

We currently offer k-5 tutoring in Math and Reading, Reading instruction and Writing support for all grades, Pre- AP, AP English Language, and Enrichment.

How will you get a sense of my child’s needs?

Before the start of all our programs, each of our scholars is given a diagnostic exam. Exams are Common Core aligned and assess student readiness according to grade-level standards. Using the information garnered from both the initial consultation and the diagnostic exam, your tutor will develop a plan to best address the needs of your student.

Where will the tutoring sessions take place?

Tutoring sessions will be held virtually. We have found that offering our sessions through virtual platforms allows students and family added flexibility and continual access to our innovative tools. Additionally, instructing scholars virtual allows for added engagement and provides us with the capability to assess students in real-time.

How long is each tutoring session?

Each tutoring session is 60 minutes long. This includes 55 minutes of direct instruction and 5 mins that can be used review, planning, or parent check-ins. (Cohort programs, test preparation courses, and special event times are specified based on the event).

What’s your policy for cancellations and make-up sessions?

Scholars may cancel a prepaid session up to four hours before the scheduled time for reasons of a family emergency or sickness. Sessions must be rescheduled within 14 days based on tutor availability. No refunds are available for any reason, including illness, injury, personal matters, missed days, transportation delays, etc. For courses, please refer to course terms and conditions.

What kind of results can I expect to see, and what happens if my child doesn’t make progress?

Every learner is different. Our of respect for each student, we cannot make any promises or warranties with regards to a scholar’s performance as a result of any service provided.
